How do I gain access to the content?

You will need to create an account. If you are a BSC employee, this would have already been done for you.

Check your BSC email account for details of your username (Don’t forget to check your junk folder).

Please always use your full format email address when logging in.

Create a password on first login by selecting the Lost Password? link. You will need to use a 12 mixed character secure format password.

How do I access the lessons?

The lessons can be accessed directly from the homepage, or from ‘My Learning’ in the menu once you have logged in.

You would have already been assigned a curriculum.

If you believe you should be seeing any additional content, then please get in touch!

What lessons are appropriate for my role?

Everyone in the EP team is required to take all 7 lessons and recommended to take them in the sequence they appear in ‘My Learning’:

  1. Atrial Fibrillation 101 (or the optional AF Advanced Knowledge check if you are experienced in EP)
  2. Single-shot 101
  3. Single-shot clinical evidence
  4. BSC Single-shot strategy
  5. POLARx Overview
  6. LUMINIZE Overview
  7. POLARx Cryosystem

How do I ensure I have completed the learning?

You will be required to complete both the learning and the knowledge check related to each lesson.

A score of 80% for the knowledge check in a maximum of 3 attempts is required to satisfactorily complete each lesson.

How do I review my progress?

You can track your progress from ‘My Learning’. Here you will have an overview of your progress for each lesson, the associated knowledge check and progress status.

How do I get help if something is not working?

Please note that using a VPN (such as PULSESECURE) may prevent you logging in and affect your lesson tracking. Please ensure that you turn this off.

I am having difficulty accessing the content.

Ensure that you access Educare Single-shot using a modern, up-to-date browser, such as Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, or Mozilla Firefox. Most accessibility issues arise from using non-supported browsers, such as Internet Explorer.

Tracking and functionality of lessons and knowledge checks may be affected when using non-supported browsers and may result in lessons not being marked as complete.

Please note that using a VPN may affect your ability to login, and course trackinjg and progression. We recommend that you disable this when accessing the content.
